RMHC is dedicated to providing care centres (care rooms) for families in need, within and outside hospitals and medical centres, completely free of charge. Many patients come from semi-urban and rural areas, travelling miles to access advanced medical facilities.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room (RMFR) is a space where patients and their caregivers can relax and unwind. There are activities to partake in, from reading books to playing games – all within a hygienic environment with the latest facilities and medical staff close-by. We have two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Maharashtra: within the Outpatient Department of Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children in Mumbai (that was set up in 2016), and the second – opened in 2024, at Government Cancer Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad).
Making a significant difference in the lives of paediatric cancer patients and their loved ones who visit the hospital for critical care, RMHC India is committed to further extending its support to hospitals in other Indian cities.

When you pay for your McDonald’s India order online, or at our McDonald’s West & South restaurants, you can round-up your total to the nearest 10. For instance, if your McDonald’s India order value is ₹343, you can add ₹7, making the total ₹350. The extra amount goes to RMHC India. On your McDonald’s bill online, once you’ve added items to your cart, you’ll see a box above Total Charges that reads Donate ₹3 for RMHC India, you can check that, and edit the amount too if you wish. We value every contribution.
