Liverpool is now getting its fast food quicker than ever before. A recently renovated McDonald’s outlet has installed touch screen kiosks to further streamline the ordering process.
Instead of queuing up at the counters, customers get to select their order at the kiosks. The customers even have the freedom to customize their burgers and can pay using their smartphones or cards. The food is made to order and delivered to their table. Along with the kiosks, the outlet has also installed tablets at the tables on which the customers can browse the internet or play games.
Operations Consultant, Gary Whitehead said, “We’re thrilled with the transformation because we’re committed to offering our customers more choice and fast service. Technology has a huge role to play in all walks of life, including our customers’ eating experience, so the new tech we’ve introduced recognizes the way people live their lives today.”
