Espresso, certainly, is the word of the year, song of 2024, and flavour of the season, thanks to Sabrina Carpenter! Not only has everyone been humming this incredibly delightful and catchy tune, rumour has it that espresso sales have steadily increased since this musical hit came out! 😄

Sooo, what is it about this world-famous coffee style that’s a customer go-to?
Espresso has character, a little goes a long way. An espresso is a robust and aromatic brew, prepared by forcing boiled water under pressure through finely ground coffee. It’s served as a shot, and is meant to be enjoyed as such.
Funnily, the espresso is regarded as one of the first examples of fast food, because, espresso, itself means speed. Easy to understand why the espresso is most-preferred by the urban working crowd – it’s good coffee, served as a shot, and it keeps your senses alert and refreshed for a few hours.
Fun fact: Ever noticed that golden to reddish-brown foam on the top of your espresso? Crema! Appearing on the surface of your brew for a minute or two, crema helps blanket the surface and trap the aromatics in the liquid below.
