We are not sure if you’ve been made aware, but we would like to draw your attention now to an important issue that we are hoping to resolve, soon.
For the last several months, a slew of impersonators and scammers have been using the McDonald’s India brand and name to pose as parties offering and selling franchising rights to businesses and individuals. This is a franchise scam. To state most clearly, McDonald’s India does not offer franchising rights to anybody and please be aware that anyone promising you the same, attempting to get you on-board, or is making such claims to you or anyone else is most definitely fraudulent and of unscrupulous intentions.
As McDonald’s India, we issue this in public interest – your safety comes first, and we hope that you will stay vigilant. We’ve been made aware of instances where people have gotten conned by way of this franchise consultant scam, undergone severe stress due to which – considering their personal and financial losses. Please, please, do not voluntarily disclose your personal and financial details to such parties, we request you to cease contact immediately and report these persons to us and the authorities.
Tell your entrepreneurial friends, these scam artists are adept at their game and can use their language to dupe and sway. So, stay alert, make sure the people in your circles are in the know of this franchise consultant scam, and do not fall prey. Watch this space for more. Take care!
