McCafe

McCafes will be shortly coming up somewhere near you. If not just yet, soon enough. Step in to take a sip of Macchiato – an Espresso with a dollop of foam milk.  In Italian, macchiato means ‘stained’ or ‘spotted’ so caffè macchiato is ‘stained coffee’, or coffee with a spot of milk.  Unlike the very British preference for tea with a ‘spot of milk’, though, in the case of coffee, it’s more foam milk. And if that doesn’t really rock your boat, go for the straightforward Latte, Flat White or all time favourite Cappuccino.
