    Hi Anusha, French fries at McDonald’s India are 100% vegetarian and do not contain any animal extract. All the vegetarian and non-vegetarian products are fried separately. Only 100% vegetable oil is used to prepare the French Fries.

    No. None of our buns or shakes or soft serves contain animal enzymes or derivatives.

    We do not add any beef flavouring to our fries. We would also like to highlight that our fries are fried in 100% vegetable oil and there are separate frying stations for our veg and non-veg menu items.

    We do not use pork in any form. All ingredients used in our product are 100 % complying with FSSAI guidelines and are never derived from pork.

    No, all packaging material and printing inks used for our direct contact food packaging are made from food grade material. These are complying with FSSR STDs.

    Thanks for your query. In line with respect for local culture, India is the first country in the world where McDonald’s does not offer any beef or pork items. McDonald’s has also re-engineered its operations in the country to address the special requirements of vegetarians. Vegetarian products are kept separate from non-vegetarian food products throughout the various stages of procurement, cooking & serving.

    Sorry, but your experience is not pertaining to McDonald’s restaurants in West & South India and hence we are unable to comment. McDonald’s in India serves breakfast across its restaurants between 7am-11am. We have not introduced all day breakfast in our market, yet.

From our very inception in India in 1996, we don’t serve beef and pork products respecting local cultural sensitivities. If you are in India, do try our other burgers which include Chicken Maharaja Mac and Filet-O-Fish.

    The cup is really only half full, with an inadequate sprinkling of toppings. Thanks for your question, Archana. All McFlurry desserts are made with a specific amount of ingredients. Our mixing machine blends the ice cream with your chosen toppings in such a way that the spinning may spread the ingredients out from the centre.

    Thanks, Rahul. We can tell you that added sugar in bun is ranging from 6.3-6.5%; in fact we have reduced the amount of sugar in our buns back in 2004.

    Our potatoes are as real as the Earth is round, Priya – and that’s where they start out. They come from Deesa & Kheda district in Gujarat. We use the McCain potatoes exclusively. These whole potatoes are processed into fries by McCain India, then sent to us so we can cook up fresh orders of our world famous fries.
