The App now includes features like an Order History, wherein customers can view their past orders and reorder with a simple click if they like. Other consumer-centric features include enhanced digital payment solutions and FreeCharge e-wallet for easy, cashless transactions.
With the new app, one can drop a pin on their exact location and the app will find the nearest McDonald’s. Not only that, customers can even personalise their orders now. They can buy the items they wish to order and remove or add ingredients as per their preference.
“With the revamped McDelivery app, we are confident of connecting more than ever with our consumers,” says Amit Jatia, Vice-Chairman, Westlife Development Limited. Saying that the new App offers customers “easy, personalized and truly useful features,” Jatia added that, “In fact, our web and mobile platforms contribute over 55% sales to the total McDelivery business for McDonald’s.”
With the updated app, not only can one place orders for delivery, but also for Dine-in! The new Dine-in feature allows a customer to choose dine-in (if not takeaway), then select the time when one wants the order to be ready, and simply pick up the delivery from the counter.
